Beach restaurant serving French Mediterranean cuisine in Palm Jumeirah

The beachfront complex, aptly named Maison de la Plage, is imbued with the spirit of the French Riviera, although it is located on West Beach at Palm Jumeirah in Dubai. The famous tandem of Izu Ani and Evgeniy Kuzin is responsible for the kitchen, and the London design studio First Within is responsible for the interior design.

There are lounge chairs, a swimming pool and a beach-style restaurant with a concept reminiscent of a Southern country market, featuring the freshest ingredients, from the day's catch to baby vegetables and prime meats. Among the hits: beef carpaccio with Parmesan cheese and truffle dressing, creamy linguine with lobster, grilled octopus with bell pepper sauce and baked potatoes or tender marinated lamb cutlets.

The design of the establishment strives to go beyond conventional aesthetics, combining the timeless appeal of the Cote d'Azur. The choice of rattan furniture was made to add an element of sophistication and enhance the connection between the design and its coastal surroundings.
